Senior Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa has said that sincere & dedicated political workers will be accommodated in Pakistan Muslim League(N), however, there is no space for opportunists in the party.
He said that provincial government is taking measures for the development of far-flung and remote areas of the Province as well as for the poverty alleviation and for the attainment of the objective of economic development. He told that Rs.193.50 has been allocated for the development programme which is 58.80 billion more of our last year’s revised development budget and this is the record development programme in the history of the Punjab, whereas, main focus of the budget is pro- poor people and 56 percent of development budget has been reserved for Southern Punjab areas.
He expressed these views while presiding over PML(N) organizing committee meeting of Multan division, here today. Mst. Tehmina Doltana, Khawaja Saad Rafique and members of the committee attended the meeting. Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa told that development schemes worth Rs.135 billion are being completed in Southern Punjab districts in and these are in addition to annual development programme. He said Rs.2 billion have been allocated for urban renewal programme for intermediate cities with the view promote their economy and make them preferred choice for leaving and work.
