Chairman standing committee on education Abid Sher Ali said that a reference against Sindh Home Minister Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza for harassing HEC Chairman Javed Laghari would be filed within two to three days.
He was talking to journalists at Lahore airport on Tuesday after coming back home from Dubai.
He said that degrees verification process was neither politically motivated nor it had any specific agenda against any political party, but Sindh Home Minister Zulfiqar Mirza was harassing the upright HEC chairman.
HEC should be allowed to do its work with complete freedom and political figure should not utilize tactics to pressurize the commission to restrict degrees verification process, Abid Sher Ali said.
